Hi, I'm Maria Gray.

I was raised in Berthoud, Colorado and now live in Johnstown with my husband Jamie and our son Wyatt. Simply Sourdough Bread is all homemade — every loaf mixed, shaped, and scored by hand in my own kitchen.

My sourdough journey started in September of 2023. I've been gluten intolerant since I was fourteen, and for twelve years I couldn't find a bread I could actually enjoy. I kept looking for something healthy and delicious, and sourdough turned out to be the answer — naturally low in gluten, packed with benefits from the slow fermentation, and the first bread in over a decade that felt like mine again.

What began as a personal practice has turned into a weekly ritual for a loyal group of neighbors. Thank you for supporting this little bakery — every order means more than you know.
